The Experience

1. The Enquiry  If you are considering a Boudoir Shoot then Get in touch!​ Upon enquiry, I will suggest that you book in your introductory call. This meeting is completely free & no obligation at all its just an opportunity for us to get to know each other a little bit. So getting this booked is the first step

2. Start Preparing  Before the meeting, have a look through my portfolio and at other shoots you like the look of. Have a think about the type of shoot you want, how you want to be portrayed in your photos and you reasons for doing it. ​Read about other Ladies experiences and blogs etc start getting excited right from the word go!

3. The Meet At our meeting we will run through all aspects of the Photo shoot and I will answer any questions, queries and concerns you may have. This is a chance for us to get to know each a bit & for you to see if i am the right photographer for you. We will chat about your desires and goals for the shoot. Why are you having it done? Your favorite body parts. Hair and makeup ideas, location choices, outfit and props ideas, themes, any budget or time constraints etc 

4. The Booking Congratulations!​ You have decided to book your Boudoir Shoot!​ A small deposit will be taken at this stage to secure your date (the balance will be taken a week before your shoot)​ Now the fun can begin. ​Upon booking you will get access to an exclusive members page which is packed full of great content including guidance on your outfit choices, top tips etc to help you start getting ready for your shoot.

5. The Lead up You can start getting really excited now its really close. ​​The week before your shoot is your prep week; moisturize lots, drink plenty of water, have any beauty treatments you have planned done this week Get the necessary waxes done (do these earlier in the week not the day before because of redness) Do your last minute shopping for any new lingerie or props you may want and pay the remaining balance of the shoot.​​ You will have an email from me as well with all the information you will need to know; addresses, parking etc This is definitely the time to check out the client portal if you haven't already

6. The Night Before Oh My God, It's Tomorrow!! ​Tonight you are probably going to be feeling a little nervous but hopefully really excited too!​ Nerves are completely normal and tend to disappear about 10 minutes after you arrive.​ Pack everything you'll need for tomorrow, all your outfit and prop choices, postcode for the location etc so you have a stress free morning.​ Now get pampering, start at home so you already feel pretty fabulous by the time you arrive.  Have a nice soak in the bath, exfoliate, moisturize, drink lots of water and get an early night and I will see you in the morning. 

7. The Morning of Double check you've packed everything.​ Keep your face clean; you'll be having an amazing makeover very soon so there is no need to do anything except your usual cleanse and moisturise.​ If you are having your hair styled then wash, dry and leave loose don't worry about product.​ Leave plenty of time to get to your chosen location so you don't have to rush, turn your phone off and get ready to have the best time ever

8. When you arrive When you arrive get me a text and i will come and find you and help you in with your bags. There is normally a bit of time for me and you to have a catch up over a drink before we get started. I will then introduce you to your stylist  who will have a little chat with you about your chosen look.​

9. The Makeover The stylists i work with are AMAZING!​ You will be in very safe hands with these lovely Ladies. ​They will create your unique look for you and I promise you will look amazing!  ​This part usually take about an 60-90 mins once your look is complete they will then leave leaving just you and I.

10. ​Your First Outfit We will go through your wardrobe choices and make final decisions on a few different outfits options and go through any props you may have brought so i can incorporate them into your shoot. We will pick your first outfit, often if your feeling nervous a baggy jumper or a dress is great to start with as it helps to ease you in. ​And we're off...

11. The Shoot itself Usually after about 10 minutes any nerves you did have usually will disappear. It is my job to make you feel as comfortable as possible, I will not push you to do anything you don't want to do. I will guide you through all poses even facial expressions and will be your support from start to finish.​ This experience is all about empowerment and fun.​ The shoot itself usually lasts about 3 hours, in that time we will do loads of different poses and outfit changes so you get good variety in your final images.

12. The Wait Unfortunately this is the worse bit, you will now have to wait to see your photos. At the end of your shoot we would have booked in a date to get together again for you to view your images this is usually about two weeks after.​ During this time I am busy shortlisting your images and fine tuning them all. ​If we have previously discussed a time constraints this will be taken into consideration​ This is a good time for you to think about your budget and what products you are interested in

13. The Viewing This is the bit you've really been waiting for, to see all your hard work finally paid off. ​We will get together and you see a slideshow of all your images. Feel free to bring someone along with you at this stage to help you decide or who is part of the decision making process.​After an initial look we will discuss what products you had in mind I will guide you through all the options and prices and help you to start shortlisting your favorites.​ There is no obligation to purchase anything at all but unfortunately I can only keep your images for a limited time following your viewing. 

14. Delivery If you ordered any products then the usual turn around is two weeks, obviously this will be longer in busy periods such as Christmas please take that into consideration if you are doing a shoot around high season. ​Different packages/ products also have different lead times so do be sure to double check this with me. All products are sent on a 24 hour recorded delivery but you will be contacted to let you know your order has been sent.

15. Feedback After you have received your product I would ask you to fill out a Feedback form or to leave a google review whichever you prefer. This is optional of course but Feedback for myself and my business means more than you know and it is very appreciated. To accompany a review I usually like to use incorporate a photo from your shoot so i would also ask to fill out a tick box form called a Model release; which lets me know which/if any image/s you are comfortable with. I would never use your images unless you have agreed for me to share.
