Top Tips
You need to know before your Boudoir Shoot

  • Give your skin loads of love in the week leading up to your shoot, moisturize a lot!

  • Do not forget to exfoliate too, it gets rid of those dry patches and leave you with beautiful glowing skin

  • Drink tons of water!! Again fantastic for that beautiful complexion

  • Personal grooming; shave and wax as you normally would however please do this a couple of days before the shoot (especially waxing) this will allow any redness or bumps to fade.

  • Same with tanning please leave at least a week before

  • This is not the time to be trying a new beauty regime. Do not try anything new this week for example, hair cut/colour, new skin products etc just it case it goes wrong or causes a reaction

  • If you do colour your hair please do it at least a week before so the colour has time to settle do not try a new colour!

  • Please pluck your eyebrows if you need to, our makeup artists are great but are working within a time frame and will not have time to pluck your eyebrows

  • Do not forget your nails, book yourself in for a manicure and pedicure or give yourself a DIY one. It really ties the whole look together and finshes off your photos perfectly and makes you feel well and truly pampered. Remember to pick a colour that will compliment ALL your outfits

  • Your outfit choices can make or break a shoot so make sure you bring outfits that you love, make you feel sexy and flatter you.

    • Bring a bit of variety, don't bring four different variations of black slips. Your album will look a lot better with one black slip, a corset, a red basque and a white shirt. It will also help you to narrow your image choices down at the end.

  • Please arrive 10 minutes earlier than your appointment time so we can start promptly

  • Please arrive on the day of the shoot with little or no makeup on and your hair unstyled (This makes things easier for the glam squad)

  • I would also suggest wearing no socks or tight bras on the day to avoid strap marks

  • Get a good night sleep so you look all refreshed and glowing for your photoshoot
